ReplyDeleteThat's right. Sorry for the mistake. I am correcting it right now. Thank you for pointing out.
Deletehello good day thanks for your information but am a pharmacy student graduating this semester and have thesis using this plant can u please help me to find this plant thnks
DeleteI am afraid you need to go 'hunt' for it. Best way is go to Sungai Buloh Green Lane as there are many nurseries (click link below) along that road. If you don't find it at one nursery, just go to the next to it and so on...

Also try looking for it at this nursery...

Bring along a pic of the plant to show the nursery owner.
Good luck, Matahat Moto :)
I bought some tradescantia cuttings 4 years ago in damp moss filled cups. There was one little cutting of a plant mixed in. I potted and grew as house plant. It was such a great color and extremely fast grower. I never knew what it was. It is big and woody now, but am taking cuttings and rooting them this summer. Had no idea what it was. Glad to finally know. It sure takes a lot of water and bright light. I deck itinerary the summer. It's never had any blooms as amaranth I have seen. The color threw me. Nice to know what I have been growing.
ReplyDeleteAgree 100%, Mediamixer! I was attracted to the colour too and also how quickly the plant reproduces using cuttings. Let the plant grow as tall as it can and keep fingers crossed for the flowers ;)
